Why does it take so long for mortgage information to become available?
Your previous mortgage company continues to process your payments and service your account right up until the transfer date. On the transfer date, they transfer your account and records to Midland. Once the information is received, it is tested before activating your account on our systems. While transfer and testing can take more than a week, our commitment is to minimize delays for you.
Will you accept my mortgage payment by telephone or online?
No. We accept payment by coupon and through our Automatic Payment Program, also known as "ACH."
