Year-End Tax and Loan Information Mailings
|
Beginning approximately January 20, 2008, and continuing
through January 31, 2008 Midland Mortgage Co. will mail 2007 Year-End Tax
and Information packets to customers. Please allow time for your packet to reach
you. To access your 2007 year-end tax information, log in to
My Mortgage account access and click Tax Information
on the left navigation bar.

Contents of the Year-End
Information Packet
- IRS Form 1098 - This form lists mortgage interest and property taxes paid
during the year. You'll need this to prepare your 2007 tax return.
- 2007 Transaction History - The history lists payments and other transactions on
your mortgage loan during the year.
- Privacy Notice - Every year we provide a copy of our privacy policy, which describes how
Midland Mortgage and MidFirst Bank use and protect your personal information.
- Cranston-Gonzales FHA Disclosure - On some loans, federal law
requires that we provide a complimentary annual payoff estimate - This does not
mean that you are required to pay off your loan; in fact, if you do wish to pay
off your loan, please contact us for an updated payoff amount. The estimate in the yearend disclosure
does not include account transactions after December 31, 2007.
*Notice to New Customers – If your loan transferred to Midland
during 2007, please note that Midland’s year-end
information will be for the period that Midland has serviced your loan. Your previous
mortgage company should provide year-end information for the period that your
loan was serviced by that company. Combine the information from your previous
mortgage company with the information from Midland when you prepare your 2007 tax
return.
